When do we use as many as?
We can use as many as to compare and show that someone or some people have the same amount of something as someone else.
For example:
  • My sister has as many jackets as my mom. (This means they have the same amount of jackets.)
  • My sister doesn't have as many high heels as my mom. (This means my mother has more high heels than my sister.)
Structure
  • + Person A + verb to have + as many +plural countable  noun + as + person B.
  • - Person A don't/ doesn't/ didn't have as many + plural countable noun + as + person B

When do we use as much as?
We use as much as to make comparisons referring to quantity with uncountable nouns. 
For example:
  • I don't have as much money as Bill Gates.
  • He doesn't enjoy watching basketball as much as watching soccer.
  • I don't like eating rice as much as my father. 
Structure:
Person A + verb + as much (uncountable noun) as person B.
Person A + verb + object 1 + as much as + object 2.
Person A + verb + object + as much as + person B.
